Weather Layer Overlays  - Icon Legend

The Severe Layer will show severe thunderstorm watches and warnings. Using red polygons to indicate affected areas.

Storm Tracks is a premium layer (subscription required) that shows tracking icons on the radar. Icons will change as severe weather escalates over time.

The Lightning layer will display lightning strikes within 150 miles of any saved or current location. This is a premium layer and requires a subscription to view.

The Flood layer will show warning and watches covering affected polygon-based alert areas.

The Winter layer shows Snowfall and mixed precipitation on the map. Turn on the Map Legend under Map Options to see which colors represent heavy snowfall or mixed conditions. Pair this overlay with the Snow Cover layer for the best view of winter weather conditions.

Hurricane Tracks is an easy way to track tropical storms and their projected path. You can tap on each data point to view more detail about the severity of the storm. A grey polygon will indicate the projected path of the storm.

The Marine layer is best used for small craft advisories and boating related alerts. These alerts will appear along the coast and show polygon shaped overlays to indicate affected areas.

The Tropical layer will show official cyclone and tropical storm alerts from NOAA. Most often appearing in tropical areas and best used in tandem with the Hurricane Tracks layer.

This Earthquake layers displays icons based on the category of earthquake reported.

The Other layer will display NOAA Wildfire polygon data and other official advisories.
